2008 Malawi Mission Presentation - THIS SUNDAY! (Aug. 10th)
Have you been dying do hear about Africa this summer? OR maybe you just haven't had a chance yet to meet up with one of the team members to ask them about the trip. Well.. no worries, because this Sunday our very own youth group mission team will be presenting at both 1st and 2nd services in the youth room. Everyone is welcome to join us as we share our blessings with the rest of our yg family!

WANT Student Leadership Conference - Aug. 15th to Aug. 17th
If you're interested in serving this upcoming school year and signed up for the Student Leadership Conference, then please bring your COMPLETED Application along with your testimony THIS SUNDAY. You can give it to P. Peter. This Sunday is the last day to get your application in so please don't forget!
The SLC (Student Leadership Conference) Schedule will look like this...
Friday Aug. 15th - 7 PM to 9:30 PM
Saturday Aug. 16th - 10 AM to 7 PM
Sunday Aug. 17th - 1 PM to 2 PM
Cost - $20 for the conference. Please bring your registration fee with you on the first day of the conference.
*** Attendance to ALL events is Required.***

Hey Friends & Family,
Well, here we are! It's been an amazing time here and God has been blessing and teaching us so many things. This will probably be our only post since internet where we are does not exist (as you'll see from some pictures)!
Everyone is healthy, safe and sound. Praise God! Please continue to pray for us for those things but also for opportunities to be a channel of God's grace to the people in the villages. We're currently working with KINDLE on a consturction project as well as going out to the villages and sharing our presentation and testimony. On Thursday and Friday we'll be doing VBS outreach so please pray for that.
Power is sketchy so I'll keep it brief! We'll see you soon! Thank you so much for being a part of our team and for praying for us. It really does make a difference!
We love you and we'll bring back blessings to share when we get back!

Prayer Requests for Malawi Missions Team!
Details of Trip - We'll be away July 18th through August 2nd. We'll be working with an organization called KINDLE (Kids In Need Deserve Love and Encouragement), which works to support orphans and local communities with the love of Christ. Check out their website!
Project Overview - In a country with more than 1 million orphans (over 700,000 children lost their parents to AIDS), where 1 in 10 babies born are not expected to live, the needs in Malawi are as widespread as anywhere in the world. We will partner with and serve under KINDLE, to share the Gospel in a variety of ways. Some of our ministry opportunities will involve construction, VBS for children, programs for youth groups, personal evangelism, local church presentations and prayer walks.
Please pray for...
1. Safety - both physical and spiritual
2. Team Unity - that by the way we love one another, others will see God's love in a real way
3. Wisdom - for our leaders and our team members in our daily activities
4. Opportunities - to share and demonstrate God's amazing love and grace to the children and people of Malawi
5. Faith - to see lives changed

Malawi Missions Team - Commissioning Dinner & Send Off Service
Come and join us on Thursday July 17th to pray for and send off our youth group summer missions team! We will have a dinner in the fellowship hall for ALL Family, Friends and Supporters! ALL youth group is welcome! Come and support your brothers and sisters.
Details - Thursday July 17th from 5:30 to 9:00 PM. Dinner is provided in the Fellowship Hall.

If you'd like to serve as a Student Leader this upcoming school year, then you have a great opportunity to get trained and equipped at our annual SLC (Student Leadership Conference) coming up on August 15th -17th.
